Myriad land, air and water species rely on the Fraser River Delta. Hundreds of thousands of migrating seabirds stop to rest and feed on the mud flats as they travel the Pacific Flyway. Massive ancient sturgeon swim up and down the Fraser River and all five species of wild salmon pass through these waters. People from around the world live and work here, shaping the landscape with their cultures and languages.
